Chelsea Physic Garden

Helen works regularly with the Chelsea Physic Garden creating illustrations inspired by their historic and beautiful gardens.

The collaboration began in 2017 with a series of snowdrop egg cups and has grown into a large collection of mugs, cups and tiles.

After many visits to the venue sketching in watercolour and ink, Helen’s designs include garden scenes of seedlings, watering cans, a rose and bee, their beehives and famous glasshouses. All of the finished products are exclusive to the gardens.

Most recently Helen has designed an advent calendar, featuring an illustration inspired by the garden in the winter behind each door. Chelsea Physic Garden is a charity and proceeds of the calendar go to the garden to support their efforts in maintaining the grounds for the future.
